Amanda Hill, Lead Interior Designer

Amanda Hill has worked in interior design for 10 years. She began her interior design career while attending Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. In 2000, Amanda received her interior design degree and went on to fulfill her internship requirements. In July of 2005, she passed the NCIDQ exam for state licensing in interior design.

Hill Design Studio specializes in residential interior design with additional experience in designing offices, conference rooms, and retail spaces. Amanda designs spaces for private residential and small commercial clients and works on a team with several reputable Austin builders.

Hill Design Studio Philosophy

Amanda understands the importance of communication between designer, contractors and trades and will ensure that the implementation of the design conforms to the design concept. She believes that the design is only as good as the installation. As a professional designer, Amanda also understands the importance of budget to the design project. It is important to set a budgetary goal at the beginning of the project. Throughout the design process, it is the designer's responsibility to communicate with the client regarding this budget.
